PIXARGUS Camera Sensor Technology
A PIXARGUS high-capacity camera sensor measures - automatically, objectively and in real time - the size of particles in the surface of extruded test strips processed by lab-scale extruders in the compound mixing shop. This significantly speeds up compound testing and its approval for use in production.

Intelligent operator guidance via a 21.5” multitouch screen and a clearly structured cockpit displaying all parameter settings make for easy and swift operation. Comfortable assistance systems, such as the automatic and simplified lighting control and focusing feature, reduce the set-up effort and eliminate operating errors.
Intelligent process control through data networking
A highlight of the system: the data measured during compounding are interlinked with the final inspection of the product. Thus, PIXARGUS is taking quality assurance to a new level. By relating the analysis of the data acquired during compounding to those provided by the inspection systems, it is now possible to objectively determine which compounds will lead to products of optimum quality and which will result in rejects.
